On Sunday August 21, 2011 the merchants and business people of downtown Port Coquitlam, in partnership with Metro Motors, will be closing down our streets and filling them with hundreds of beautiful collector cars and over 40,000 spectators.

In addition to the 500 plus vehicles that will be on display, there will be continuous entertainment on the Leigh Square bandstand featuring the “#1 Elvis Tribute Artist”…Darren Lee (www.darren-lee.com), a stand up performance by the Second Story Theatre (www.secondstoreytheatre.com), old time Rock & Roll band “Inner Wild” and the harmonic sounds of the “Big Yahoo”, an incredible 10-person local band with vocals that give you goose bumps with every song they perform.

Other entertainment not on the main stage includes performances by “Trials Stars” (www.trialsstars.com) who can seemingly climb, jump or pedal their mountain bikes onto or up on anything. Young and old alike will be mesmerized by the magic of Award Winning and Internationally Published Magician Alex Seaman (www.alexseaman.com). Alex is eighteen years old and has been performing magic for over seven years. He started out with children’s magic performing at birthday parties and children’s events and, since then, has been perfecting his skills in Family oriented shows. Returning for a sixth straight year is the popular “Builder’s Showcase” area which features over 2.5 million dollars worth of custom cars. Six world-class builders from the Lower Mainland area will have many vehicles on display that you won’t see anywhere else. There is also face painting, a free 9-hole mini golf course, “Collector’s Corner display, “Mustang Alley” and whole lot more.

We value our media partners and hope you will be able to join us this year.  We are looking forward to another great show!
